More and More Nigerian Women Choose Not to Have Children
zài在ní rì lì yà尼日利亚 ，hěn很duō多rén人rèn wéi认为nǚ rén女人yīng gāi应该jié hūn结婚shēng hái zi生孩子 。
In Nigeria, many people believe that women should get married and have children.
dàn shì但是xiàn zài现在 ，yuè lái yuè越来越duō多de的nǚ xìng女性xiàng像 Jewelhé和 Oluchiyī yàng一样 ，xuǎn zé选择bù不zuò做mā mā妈妈 。
But now, more and more women like Jewel and Oluchi choose not to become mothers.
Jewelxiǎo shí hòu小时候bāng帮jiā lǐ家里zhào gù照顾dì di弟弟mèi mèi妹妹 ，tā她jué de觉得zì jǐ自己xǐ huān喜欢hái zi孩子 ，dàn但bù xiǎng不想chéng wéi成为mǔ qīn母亲 。
When Jewel was young, she helped take care of her younger siblings. She felt she liked children but did not want to be a mother.

They also support the choices of their friends and family and hope others will respect them.
