Turkey's New Social Platform Next Sosyal Sparks Controversy
tǔ ěr qí 土耳其 zuì jìn 最近 tuī chū 推出 le 了 yí gè 一个 xīn 新 de 的 shè jiāo 社交 píng tái 平台 ， jiào zuò 叫做 Next Sosyal 。
Turkey recently launched a new social platform called Next Sosyal.
zhè ge 这个 píng tái 平台 shuō 说 zì jǐ 自己 shì 是 tǔ ěr qí 土耳其 dì 第 yí gè 一个 běn dì 本地 shè jiāo méi tǐ 社交媒体 ， méi yǒu 没有 guǎng gào 广告 ， yě 也 méi yǒu 没有 sāo rǎo 骚扰 。
This platform claims to be Turkey's first local social media, with no ads and no harassment.

Many people quickly registered on this platform.

However, some found out that Next Sosyal is actually built using an open-source software called Mastodon, and it was not completely developed by themselves.

The person in charge of Mastodon said they have contacted Next Sosyal, hoping they will follow the software usage rules, such as making their modified code public.

In the past, Turkey also had some projects claimed to be locally developed, but they actually used foreign open-source software.

Now, the person in charge of Next Sosyal says they will comply with the regulations.
