The U.S. Department of Defense has released a batch of documents about unidentified aerial phenomena.
These materials range from 1953 to recent years and include reports, photographs, and videos.
A pilot said that early one morning in 2002, he saw a very large black triangle at an air force base in Afghanistan.
It had no lights and made no sound, and it flew steadily over the base.
Another report said that in 2021, while a military aircraft was training in the Gulf of Oman, it detected about 25 spherical objects using infrared equipment.
They were cooler in temperature and flew very fast. They also seemed to react to the aircraft's movements, but the equipment malfunctioned, so no video was recorded.
Other documents also recorded black objects, white bright lights, and high-speed flying objects.
Analysis of past photographs suggested that some objects moved at very high speeds and did not resemble common natural phenomena or aircraft.
However, these reports mainly come from witnesses and old materials, and they still cannot explain exactly what these objects are.
The U.S. Department of Defense said it will release more related documents in the future.
