What the World Misses by Not Understanding Statelessness
hěn很duō多rén人huì会bèi被yāo qiú要求chū shì出示hù zhào护照 、chū shēng zhèng míng出生证明huò或shēn fèn zhèng身份证 。
Many people are asked to show a passport, birth certificate, or ID card.

For most people, this is normal, but for stateless people, it is often difficult.

You may be born in one place, grow up there, speak the local language, and have your own community, but no country recognizes you as a citizen.

Statelessness is not just about lacking documents; it can also affect schooling, work, medical care, travel, and participation in social life.
gèng更nán难de的shì是 ，rén men人们cháng cháng常常yào要yī cì yòu yī cì一次又一次zhèng míng证明zì jǐ自己shì是shuí谁 、zì jǐ自己shǔ yú属于nǎ lǐ哪里 ，zhè这huì会ràng让rén人hěn很lèi累 ，yě也hěn很nán guò难过 。
What is even harder is that people often have to prove again and again who they are and where they belong, which can be exhausting and upsetting.

However, stateless people are not only people facing difficulties.

They are also working hard to live their lives, help one another, record their stories, and speak up for fairness.
