Kingston Hosts the 15th Peace Bon Odori Festival to Commemorate Nuclear Disaster Victims
2025nián年 8yuè月 3rì日 ，jīn sī dùn金斯顿jiāng将zài在hǎi tān海滩jǔ bàn举办dì第shí wǔ十五jiè届hé píng和平pén盆yǒng踊wǔ huì舞会 。
On August 3, 2025, Kingston will hold the 15th Peace Bon Odori Festival at the beach.
zhè ge这个huó dòng活动shì是miǎn fèi免费de的 ，dà jiā大家kě yǐ可以yì qǐ一起tiào wǔ跳舞 、tīng听yīn yuè音乐 ，hái还néng能jì niàn纪念guǎng dǎo广岛hé和cháng qí长崎yuán zǐ dàn原子弹bào zhà爆炸 80zhōu nián周年 ，yǐ jí以及fú dǎo福岛hé和qiè ěr nuò bèi lì切尔诺贝利hé核zāi nàn灾难 。
This event is free; everyone can dance, listen to music, and also commemorate the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, as well as the nuclear disasters in Fukushima and Chernobyl.
pén yǒng盆踊wǔ舞shì是rì běn日本de的chuán tǒng传统wǔ dǎo舞蹈 ，rén men人们zài在xià tiān夏天tiào wǔ跳舞 ，jì niàn纪念zǔ xiān祖先 。
Bon Odori is a traditional Japanese dance where people dance in summer to honor their ancestors.
huó dòng活动shàng上yǒu有rì běn日本tài gǔ太鼓biǎo yǎn表演 、shū fǎ书法biǎo yǎn表演 、hé qì dào合气道biǎo yǎn表演 ，hái yǒu还有yǒu qù有趣de的xī guā西瓜yóu xì游戏 。
The event features Japanese taiko drum performances, calligraphy demonstrations, Aikido displays, and fun watermelon games.

In the evening, there will be Buddhist prayers and a peace walk.
