Protecting Indian Pangolins: Even “Armor” Is Not Enough
chuān shān jiǎ 穿山甲 quán shēn 全身 yǒu 有 yìng 硬 lín piàn 鳞片 ， kàn qǐ lái 看起来 xiàng 像 chuān zhe 穿着 kuī jiǎ 盔甲 ， dàn 但 zhè xiē 这些 lín piàn 鳞片 bù néng 不能 bǎo hù 保护 tā men 它们 bù 不 bèi 被 rén lèi 人类 shāng hài 伤害 。
Protecting Indian Pangolins: Even “Armor” Is Not Enough
yìn dù 印度 yǒu 有 yìn dù 印度 chuān shān jiǎ 穿山甲 hé 和 zhōng huá 中华 chuān shān jiǎ 穿山甲 。
Pangolins have hard scales covering their bodies, making them look as if they are wearing armor, but these scales cannot protect them from harm by humans.

India is home to both Indian pangolins and Chinese pangolins.
