December 10th is Human Rights Day.
After Pastor Jin Mingri of a Chinese house church called 'Zion Church' was arrested, his wife Liu Anna hopes the Chinese government will allow Christians to worship without fear.
She said that as a member of the United Nations, China should respect human rights and freedom of belief like other countries in the world.
Two months ago, Jin Mingri and other church members were arrested for 'illegal use of information networks.'
They are still in detention now, and their families can contact them through lawyers.
Liu Anna feels this charge is unreasonable because many people use the internet now, and pastors should also be able to use the internet to share their faith.
She hopes Chinese Christians can have freedom without worrying about interference and can live their faith peacefully.
Liu Anna and her children have not seen Jin Mingri for a long time, and she hopes her husband will be released soon so the family can reunite.
