Someone proposed two possibilities.
First: Trump made a decision that is not even beneficial to himself.
If the U.S. takes action against Iran now, it would be not only very harsh but could also waste much of what the U.S. negotiated with Russia and China before.
Over the past twenty years, conflicts in the Middle East have often escalated, and this action against Iran seems to double the danger.
Even just from the perspective of "benefiting oneself," this war may not help his presidential position or his party; if the war drags on, voters might oppose them in the midterm elections.
Second: Some suspect that the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad forced him to do this through threats or secret materials, such as threatening his family's safety or using contents from the Epstein files to influence many politicians.
Doing this can also divert public attention and help some people avoid trouble.
Some have also noticed that Trump and the Clinton family have recently exchanged some "strange compliments" in the media, and Hillary has long advocated pressuring Iran.
These are just some speculations, but these issues are unsettling.
