Modern society has many lights that can brighten the city, but people’s consciences are not necessarily brighter.
The world today is not always moving toward a better future; many places still have war and suffering, such as Ukraine, Gaza, and some parts of Africa.
People often speak of nice-sounding words like peace, justice, and freedom, but their actions are different.
Some people’s suffering is seen by everyone, while other people’s suffering is noticed very little.
Many wars also teach us that it is not enough to only say beautiful words; what truly matters is resources, power, cooperation, and long-term persistence.
The world is not simply good people versus bad people; rather, many countries and peoples are living under pressure.
To reduce war, we cannot just shout slogans; we also need to understand water, food, energy, borders, and historical issues.
Only then may people find the true direction and stop wandering around forever in the alley of lost souls.
