After Trump became president again, many Democrats have been criticizing his actions.
But if all they do is insult and talk about impeachment, it might be useless.
The Democratic Party needs to unite Americans from different backgrounds, use less harsh language, oppose political violence, and hold more public dialogues so that everyone is willing to solve problems together.
Most importantly, they need to present a plan of 'what can be done and how to do it': First, reduce the cost of living economically, such as child subsidies, helping low-income families, fighting arbitrary price hikes, protecting social security and healthcare, and creating good jobs through infrastructure and clean energy.
Second, immigration reform should be more reasonable: on one hand, make it easier for needed workers to come legally; on the other hand, manage the border fairly and provide a path to citizenship for law-abiding immigrants who work hard.
Third, healthcare should be more affordable, with drug prices and premiums not too high, and protection for people with existing illnesses.
Fourth, address climate change by supporting states to develop clean energy, improve household energy efficiency, and reduce electricity bills.
Fifth, reduce racial inequality by investing in communities, schools, and mental health services, and protect voting rights.
Only in this way can the Democratic Party win more people's trust.
