An independent news media called 'Lun Jin' in Macau announced it will close.
Because the government did not allow their reporters to attend some official events and also canceled their registration.
The media said they will stop publishing their monthly magazine after October and will no longer update their website and social media after December 20.
Three reporters were accused of possible crimes for going to cover news, and some were taken by the police for questioning.
The government said this media no longer has legal qualifications to continue working.
Lun Jin has relied on advertising, reader subscriptions, and donations to sustain itself, but now resources are scarce, pressure is high, and reporters face legal issues, so they feel it is difficult to continue.
Lun Jin started doing news in 2010 and later reported on some important events in Macau.
Now Macau is tightening control over news and different opinions more and more.
