The Hong Kong Social Democratic Front is one of the last pro-democracy political parties in Hong Kong.

This party was established nineteen years ago and recently announced its disbandment due to significant political pressure.

The Social Democratic Front has always supported democratic reforms and cared about workers and vulnerable groups, such as migrant workers, refugees, and sexual minorities.

In the past, they had members serving in the Legislative Council and District Councils, but after election rules changed, they could no longer participate.

Many pro-democracy groups disbanded after the new security law was implemented.

Members of the Social Democratic Front said that although they are very sad, they hope Hong Kong people will continue to care for vulnerable groups.

The spirit of this party will remain in Hong Kong society.
