New York's "Tax the Rich" Campaign
zài 在 niǔ yuē 纽约 ， yǒu 有 hěn 很 duō 多 rén 人 cān jiā 参加 le 了 yí gè 一个 jiào 叫 “ xiàng fù rén zhēng shuì 向富人征税 ” de 的 huó dòng 活动 。
In New York, many people participated in an event called "Tax the Rich."
dà jiā 大家 zài 在 yáng guāng míng mèi 阳光明媚 de 的 lián hé guǎng chǎng 联合广场 shàng 上 jù zài yì qǐ 聚在一起 ， xī wàng 希望 ràng 让 fù rén 富人 duō 多 jiāo 交 shuì 税 ， yòng 用 zhè xiē 这些 qián 钱 bāng zhù 帮助 hái zi men 孩子们 shàng xué 上学 hé 和 shēng huó 生活 。
Everyone gathered in the sunny Union Square, hoping to make the rich pay more taxes and use that money to help children go to school and live better lives.
huó dòng 活动 shàng 上 yǒu 有 nián qīng rén 年轻人 ， yě 也 yǒu 有 nián zhǎng 年长 de 的 rén 人 ， tā men 他们 dōu 都 hěn 很 yǒu 有 rè qíng 热情 。
There were young people and older people at the event, all very enthusiastic.

Some people held signs that said "Tax the Rich, Fund Child Care," and others wore special clothes to express their ideas.

Everyone thought that many families have to leave New York because life is too expensive, which makes the children very sad.

Some said that if the rich paid more taxes, ordinary families would have a better life, and children could have a better future.

Everyone believed that as long as people unite, the city can become fairer.

After the event, friends chatted together, sharing their stories and hopes.
