China's Large-Scale Arrest of Female 'Boys' Love' Novelists
zuì jìn 最近 ， zhōng guó 中国 jǐng fāng 警方 zài 在 quán guó 全国 fàn wéi 范围 nèi 内 zhuā bǔ 抓捕 le 了 hěn 很 duō 多 xiě 写 “ dān měi 耽美 ” xiǎo shuō 小说 de 的 nǚ 女 zuò jiā 作家 。
Recently, Chinese police have arrested many female writers of 'Boys' Love' novels across the country.
zhè xiē 这些 zuò jiā 作家 dà duō 大多 shì 是 èr shí 二十 dào 到 sān shí 三十 suì 岁 de 的 nián qīng 年轻 nǚ xìng 女性 。
Most of these writers are young women between twenty and thirty years old.

They publish their works on a website called 'Haitang Literature City,' which mainly features stories about love between boys.
yīn wèi 因为 zhōng guó 中国 duì 对 wǎng luò 网络 nèi róng 内容 yǒu 有 yán gé 严格 de 的 guī dìng 规定 ， hěn 很 duō 多 xiě zuò 写作 hé 和 yuè dú 阅读 zhè xiē 这些 xiǎo shuō 小说 de 的 rén 人 xū yào 需要 yòng 用 tè shū 特殊 fāng fǎ 方法 cái néng 才能 fǎng wèn 访问 wǎng zhàn 网站 。
Because China has strict regulations on online content, many people who write and read these novels need special methods to access the website.
