Why Technology Needs Gender Diversity
xìng bié 性别 duō yàng xìng 多样性 hěn 很 zhòng yào 重要 ， tè bié 特别 shì 是 zài 在 kē jì 科技 lǐng yù 领域 。
Gender diversity is important, especially in the field of technology.
rú guǒ 如果 shè jì 设计 hé 和 jué dìng 决定 shì qíng 事情 de 的 rén 人 dà duō 大多 shì 是 nán xìng 男性 ， hěn duō 很多 chǎn pǐn 产品 hé 和 guī zé 规则 jiù 就 kě néng 可能 hū shì 忽视 nǚ xìng 女性 hé 和 qí tā 其他 xìng bié 性别 qún tǐ 群体 de 的 xū yào 需要 ， shèn zhì 甚至 dài lái 带来 wēi xiǎn 危险 。
If most of the people who design and make decisions are men, many products and rules may ignore the needs of women and other gender groups, and may even be dangerous.

Only then can technology become safer, fairer, and better suited to everyone.
