On March 28th, the weather was nice in Southern California, and many people went to the beach, parks, and streets to participate in the "No King Day" event.
Now, this day has become an important day for everyone to support democracy.
This year, there were more than three thousand events, possibly with nine million participants.
The author first went to Laguna Beach, where many people stood by the roadside holding signs and flags they made themselves, and passing cars honked in support.
There were many interesting creative ideas here, such as someone who drew a famous California monarch butterfly with the words: "This is the only orange king I want to see!"
Later, the author went to Long Beach.
It was lively like a festival, with people of all ages; some sang, some wore special clothes, and there were booths teaching everyone how to participate in the event.
Finally, the author saw a group walking up the square steps, all shouting together: "This is what democracy looks like!"
