India's Supreme Court Calls for Regulation of Comedians and Influencers' Speech

In August 2025, India's Supreme Court made an important ruling regarding comedians and internet celebrities.
jǐ几wèi位xǐ jù喜剧yǎn yuán演员yīn wèi因为zài在 YouTubejié mù节目zhōng中kāi wán xiào开玩笑 ，shāng hài伤害le了cán zhàng残障rén shì人士 ，bèi被yāo qiú要求gōng kāi公开dào qiàn道歉 。
Several comedians were asked to publicly apologize for jokes made on a YouTube show that hurt people with disabilities.
