tè lǎng pǔ特朗普shuō说yǐ jīng已经wèi为TikTokzhǎo dào找到le了mǎi jiā买家
U.S. President Trump said he has found a buyer for TikTok, the short video app owned by the Chinese company ByteDance.
He said the buyers are very wealthy, but it will take one or two weeks before they announce who they are.
Trump also said the deal might need approval from the Chinese government, and he thinks Chinese President Xi Jinping might agree.
TikTok has many users in the U.S., about 170 million people.
The U.S. government is worried that TikTok might make American users' information unsafe, so it has asked ByteDance to sell TikTok's U.S. business to an American company.
If they do not sell, TikTok will not be allowed to continue operating in the U.S.
Trump has extended the deadline for TikTok to be sold several times.
The Chinese government says they oppose the U.S. action and that if technology export is involved, it must comply with Chinese regulations.
