wǒ men 我们 hěn 很 róng yì 容易 xiǎng xiàng 想象 xīn 新 qì chē 汽车 、 xīn 新 kē jì 科技 huò 或 xīn 新 de 的 shè huì 社会 ， què 却 hěn 很 nán 难 xiǎng xiàng 想象 rén lèi 人类 zì jǐ 自己 huì 会 biàn chéng 变成 shén me yàng 什么样 。

Human development includes three processes: different cultures first develop their own languages, foods, music, and ways of life; after people meet, they influence and complement one another; finally, they create new cultures that did not exist before.

Today, people move to new places, learn foreign languages, interact across cultures, and people from different backgrounds also form families together.
yǒu rén 有人 hài pà 害怕 zhè zhǒng 这种 biàn huà 变化 ， xiǎng 想 yòng 用 zhǒng zú 种族 、 guó jiā 国家 huò 或 wén huà 文化 huà chū 划出 bù néng 不能 yuè guò 越过 de 的 jiè xiàn 界线 ， bìng 并 zhuī qiú 追求 suǒ wèi 所谓 “ chún jìng 纯净 ” de 的 wén huà 文化 。
Some people fear these changes. They want to draw boundaries that cannot be crossed based on race, country, or culture, and they seek so-called “pure” cultures.
dàn 但 shì jiè 世界 de 的 lián xì 联系 yuè lái yuè 越来越 jǐn mì 紧密 ， zhè zhǒng 这种 jiāo liú 交流 hěn 很 nán 难 tíng zhǐ 停止 。
But the world's connections are becoming closer and closer, and this kind of exchange is hard to stop.
xīn 新 de 的 rén lèi 人类 bù 不 zhǐ shì 只是 wén huà 文化 róng hé 融合 de 的 jié guǒ 结果 ， yě 也 xū yào 需要 nèi xīn 内心 de 的 gǎi biàn 改变 。
New humans are not only the result of cultural blending; they also require inner change.

We can reflect on ourselves, change the way we face fear, pain, and conflict, and choose actions that are more sincere and kinder.
shì jiè 世界 huì 会 gǎi biàn 改变 wǒ men 我们 ， wǒ men 我们 yě 也 huì 会 gǎi biàn 改变 shì jiè 世界 。
The world will change us, and we will also change the world.
wèi lái 未来 de 的 wèn tí 问题 bù 不 zhǐ shì 只是 yào 要 jiàn shè 建设 zěn yàng 怎样 de 的 shè huì 社会 ， yě 也 shì 是 wǒ men 我们 yuàn yì 愿意 chéng wéi 成为 zěn yàng 怎样 de 的 rén 人 。
The question of the future is not only what kind of society we want to build, but also what kind of people we are willing to become.
