Recently, a new phrase has appeared online: “When one side is in trouble, the other seven cook.”
After the disaster, in addition to professional rescue teams, many ordinary people also rushed to Guangxi from all over the country.
They set up large pots in open spaces and cooked hot meals for rescue workers and affected residents.
For example, volunteers from Henan brought many ingredients and made hot noodle soup for everyone; volunteers from Shandong made delicious stewed meat; and caring people from Xinjiang also made fragrant hand-pulled rice.
Dishes from all over the country came together here.

Besides cooking, many people offered help in other ways.
Some transported food and clean water overnight; others rode motorcycles to deliver medicine and milk powder to villages with poor transportation.
Local villagers also took the initiative to bring out their own grain and share it with everyone.
Although disasters make people sad, the scenes of people helping one another are heartwarming.
The kind actions of countless ordinary people have come together into a powerful force.
