Missing My Hometown After Leaving
xiǎo shí hòu小时候 ，wǒ我cóng méi从没xiǎng想guò过yào要qù去hěn很yuǎn远de的dà chéng shì大城市 。
When I was a child, I never thought about going to a big city far away.
wǒ我xǐ huān喜欢hé和jiā rén家人péng yǒu朋友yì qǐ一起wán玩 ，chàng gē唱歌 ，tiào wǔ跳舞 。
I liked playing, singing, and dancing with my family and friends.
wǒ men我们huì会zài在jié rì节日yì qǐ一起fàng放yān huā烟花 ，dà jiā大家dōu都hěn很kāi xīn开心 。
We would set off fireworks together during festivals, and everyone was very happy.
hòu lái后来 ，yǒu xiē有些qīn rén亲人qù去le了bié de别的guó jiā国家shēng huó生活 ，wǒ我bù不míng bái明白tā men他们wèi shén me为什么yào要lí kāi离开 。
Later, some relatives moved to live in other countries, and I didn't understand why they had to leave.
zhǎng dà长大hòu后 ，wǒ我míng bái明白le了 ，hěn很duō多rén人yīn wèi因为jiā xiāng家乡yǒu有kùn nán困难 ，bǐ rú比如gōng zuò工作shǎo少 、shēng huó生活bù不ān quán安全 ，zhǐ néng只能qù去bié de别的dì fāng地方zhǎo找gèng更hǎo好de的shēng huó生活 。
When I grew up, I understood that many people leave because their hometown has difficulties, like few jobs and unsafe living conditions, so they have to find a better life elsewhere.
lí kāi离开jiā xiāng家乡hòu后 ，wǒ我hěn很xiǎng niàn想念jiā rén家人 、péng yǒu朋友 ，hái yǒu还有xiǎo shí hòu小时候de的kuài lè快乐shí guāng时光 。
After leaving my hometown, I missed my family, friends, and the happy times from childhood.
wǒ我yě也huì会xiǎng niàn想念nǎi nǎi奶奶zuò做de的fàn饭hé和jiā lǐ家里de的xiǎo gǒu小狗 。
I also missed the meals my grandmother cooked and the little dog at home.
suī rán虽然xiàn zài现在wǒ men我们kě yǐ可以yòng用shǒu jī手机lián xì联系 ，dàn但hái shì还是jué de觉得hěn很yuǎn远 。
Although now we can keep in touch by phone, it still feels very far away.
yǒu shí hòu有时候 ，wǒ我huì会jué de觉得nán guò难过 ，yīn wèi因为bù néng不能hé和jiā rén家人yì qǐ一起qìng zhù庆祝zhòng yào重要de的rì zi日子 。
Sometimes, I feel sad because I can't celebrate important days with my family.

Although living in a new place has many challenges, like finding a job and learning a new language, I know that choosing to live somewhere new is for a better future.

To everyone who has left their hometown, I want to say: We must live bravely and believe that the future will be better.
