When Power Loses Shame, the Country Loses Trust
xìn rèn信任duì对yí gè一个guó jiā国家hěn很zhòng yào重要 。
Trust is very important for a country.
tā它ràng让fǎ lǜ法律 、jīng jì经济hé和shè huì社会kě yǐ可以zhèng cháng正常yùn zuò运作 。
It allows laws, the economy, and society to function properly.
rú guǒ如果méi yǒu没有xìn rèn信任 ，guó jiā国家jiù就huì会biàn dé变得hěn很hùn luàn混乱 。
Without trust, the country becomes very chaotic.

Recently, two members of parliament in Chile took money from others, making people feel the government no longer has morals.

In fact, such problems did not appear overnight.

For many years, some powerful people helped each other, kept important decisions secret, and treated bad behavior as normal.

Because of this, people trust the government less and less.

Without trust, the country has no security, development, or hope.

Now, some people in Chile are starting to speak out about these problems, hoping to make the country better.
