Myanmar's "8888" Protests Continue Against Military Government
miǎn diān缅甸hé和shì jiè世界hěn很duō多chéng shì城市de的rén men人们jǔ xíng举行le了kàng yì抗议huó dòng活动 ，jì niàn纪念 1988nián年 8yuè月 8rì日de的 “ 8888 ”mín zhǔ民主yùn dòng运动 。
People in Myanmar and many cities around the world held protests to commemorate the "8888" democracy movement on August 8, 1988.
zhè这yī一tiān天duì对miǎn diān缅甸hěn很zhòng yào重要 ，yīn wèi因为hěn很duō多xué shēng学生hé和nián qīng rén年轻人zhàn站chū lái出来fǎn duì反对jūn zhèng fǔ军政府 。
This day is important for Myanmar because many students and young people stood up against the military government.
2021nián年 ，jūn duì军队zài cì再次tōng guò通过zhèng biàn政变zhǎng quán掌权 ，hěn很duō多rén人bèi被zhuā抓 、bèi被guān关jìn进jiān yù监狱 。
In 2021, the military took power again through a coup, and many people were arrested and imprisoned.
xiàn zài现在 ，miǎn diān缅甸rén mín人民hái还zài在yòng用bù tóng不同de的fāng shì方式kàng yì抗议 ，bǐ rú比如jǔ举zhe着xiě写yǒu有 “ 88 88 ”de的yǔ sǎn雨伞zǒu走shàng上jiē tóu街头 。
Now, the people of Myanmar are still protesting in different ways, such as walking on the streets holding umbrellas with "8888" written on them.
tā men他们xī wàng希望shì jiè gè dì世界各地de的rén人dōu都néng能kàn dào看到miǎn diān缅甸rén mín人民zhēng qǔ争取zì yóu自由de的nǔ lì努力 。
They hope that people all over the world can see the efforts of the Myanmar people to fight for freedom.
suī rán虽然jūn zhèng fǔ军政府jiā qiáng加强le了ān quán cuò shī安全措施 ，dàn但rén men人们hái shì还是yǒng gǎn勇敢dì地biǎo dá表达zì jǐ自己de的shēng yīn声音 。
Although the military government has strengthened security measures, people still bravely express their voices.

Many people from different countries also support Myanmar's protests.
dà jiā大家xiāng xìn相信 ，zhǐ yào只要yì qǐ一起nǔ lì努力 ，miǎn diān缅甸huì会yǒu有gèng更hǎo好de的wèi lái未来 。
Everyone believes that as long as they work together, Myanmar will have a better future.
