Hong Kong LGBTQ+ Groups Raise Public Awareness During Event
5yuè月 17rì日 ，xiāng gǎng香港tóng luó wān铜锣湾yǒu有cǎi hóng qí彩虹旗 ，rén men人们qìng zhù庆祝guó jì国际fǎn kǒng反恐tóng rì同日 。
On May 17th, there were rainbow flags in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, as people celebrated the International Day Against Homophobia.
zhè gè这个huó dòng活动yǒu有duō gè多个 LGBTQ+tuán tǐ团体cān jiā参加 ，tā men他们zài在jiē shàng街上fā发chuán dān传单 ，hé和lù路rén人liáo tiān聊天 。
Several LGBTQ+ groups participated in this event; they handed out flyers on the street and talked with passersby.
yǒu有de的tān wèi摊位ràng让dà jiā大家xiě xià写下miàn duì面对qí shì歧视shí时zěn me怎么zhào gù照顾zì jǐ自己 ，bǐ rú比如 “tīng听yīn yuè音乐 、zuò fàn做饭 、jiàn见péng yǒu朋友 ” 。
Some booths invited people to write down how they take care of themselves when facing discrimination, such as 'listening to music, cooking, meeting friends.'
hái yǒu还有rén人xiě xià写下 “kuà xìng bié zhě跨性别者de的quán lì权利shì是rén quán人权 ” 。
Others wrote down 'Transgender rights are human rights.'
zhè xiē这些huó dòng活动ràng让gèng更duō多rén人liǎo jiě了解hé和zhī chí支持 LGBTQ+qún tǐ群体 。
These activities help more people understand and support the LGBTQ+ community.
xiàn zài现在 ，xiāng gǎng香港jǔ bàn举办zhè yàng这样de的huó dòng活动biàn dé变得bù不róng yì容易 ，dàn但tuán tǐ团体men们hái shì还是nǔ lì努力ràng让dà jiā大家kàn dào看到tā men他们 。
Nowadays, holding such events in Hong Kong has become difficult, but the groups still work hard to make themselves seen.
suī rán虽然xiāng gǎng香港hái还méi yǒu没有bǎo hù保护 LGBTQ+de的fǎ lǜ法律 ，yě也bù不chéng rèn承认tóng xìng同性hūn yīn婚姻 ，dàn但yǒu有diào chá调查xiǎn shì显示hěn很duō多xiāng gǎng香港rén人zhī chí支持tóng xìng同性hūn yīn婚姻 。
Although Hong Kong does not yet have laws protecting LGBTQ+ people or recognize same-sex marriage, surveys show many Hong Kong residents support same-sex marriage.
cān jiā参加huó dòng活动de的rén人shuō说 ，xī wàng希望dà jiā大家hù xiāng互相zūn zhòng尊重 ，bú yào不要qí shì歧视bié rén别人 。
Participants said they hope everyone respects each other and does not discriminate against others.
